Ever since the unexpected T-2o World cup win, the Indians have been flying too high, particularly the captain, M.S.Dhoni. The players became richer and richer after this world cup win and then, talks were on that, this was going to be the end of the road for the senior players like Sourav, Rahul and Sachin. But, immediately the test series down under followed, and it was the seniors and not the youngsters, who came to India's rescue and helped them salvage some pride. Dhoni din't do much to justify his place in the test side. Yet, he played all 4 test matches.
After, the test series was over, what followed was a shocker by the dumb selectors of the Indian team. They dropped/rested senior players like Sourav, Rahul and Laxman. Dhoni even said in an interview that, if he were given the young side that played in the T-20, he would do the miracle again. But, only words remained and not the actions. In the T-20 match against Australia, the BOYS in Blue crumbled under the pressure and were bowled out for paltry score. The Aussies bludgeoned the Indians with ease. The slide started there. Now, with the first ODI of the CB series going on and the BOYS in blue struggling to cope up with the Aussie bowling, it is now time for the selectors to do a rethink. The seniors should be back in the side as experience is indeed very important in a series Down Under. You can do all those experiments at home where you can get those dead pitches where even a Jaffer and a Dhoni can score hundreds at ease but not against the Lions that too at their own den. Aussies are truly the world champions and if at all, India has got any chance to trouble the Aussies, then it must be because of the experience and definitely not youth. I feel that Dhoni is thinking too much of himself. Being a captain, he hasn't done anything significant except for that T-20 win. So, I feel that the selectors should first bring back the senior players into the team and also the captaincy must be handed over to someone like Sehwag or Sourav because Dhoni doesn't seem to gel all that well with the senior players. If the present form continues, I am sorry to say that, the tale of the BOYS in Blue will always be a tale of woe!!!

what i think is...." SCRAP THE EVENT" and form a new team with railway ground guys and play a T10 match for low match fee..me doing the captaincy

EvenDhoni blamed Dhadha in an interview. He is a good player but should not think so much of himself. He will get paid for all these da :)

Yeah The Indian team is trying to introduce too many youngsters at the same time. Now these youngsters maybe athletic and may take those quick singles and twos, but we need someone experienced in the middle order atleast for now who can play without losing his head and guide the youngsters.
after d lifting of T20 cup...d young blood was really roaring as if they r all set ready n al to face d future..bt wat hapend next was a leson for them tat they r nt cmpletely ready...its nt gud to rest senior players down under...their xperiance maters a lot specialy overses..bt d fact tat v cant still rely upon d seniors prevails n v sn v need to shape up a team wo seniors..so its beter d BOYS IN BLUE shape up soon.lets c v hope for a best team to play for d nation in future.
Ofcourse,The Great Indian Team backing youngsters but tats not a bad sign at all wen u look at the future.It's enough to hav 2 seniors.
If u ask me i'll say juz giv time for youngsters to learn rather than bringing back senoirs. No one'll get experience without playing a match.Seniors once before were youngster, u must remember it.
Dhoni is doing a good job as a ODI Captain rather than as a batsmen.

I accept that the juniors must be groomed... But, honestly, Dont u feel that dhoni is flying too much. Imagine his wrath if we hadnt won the T-20 WC. The whole world including u wd hav said tht he is not a good captain. But, Dhoni isnt a fleming, to be a good captain alone. He should bat well as well.. Lets c in the forthcoming matches. May ur words come true...
