Kevin Peter Pietersen (born 27 June 1980 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa) is an English cricketer. He is also one of ma favorites among the players of the modern era... He made his debut just 3yrs ago and here he is with 10test centuries to his name... Really a potential player who can single handedly hit any team out of the match... I started liking him during the Ashes 2005 where he was one of those Wrecker-in-chief for England to defeat Australia and win the Ashes after 28yrs... The last time they had won it was in 1977...
Well!!! I would say that he became famous bcoz of that superb performance in the Ashes where he single-handedly saved the final test by helping them draw the test and thereby winning the Ashes series 2-1... One of the fiercest strikers of the cricket ball... His 156 in that final test was studded with 7 monstrous blows over the fence...Which is incidentally the highest by an English batsman in an innings... He also won the best emerging player and the best odi player award in the year 2005... One of ma personal favorites though his attitude is always under criticism... He is also famous for his funky, crazy hairstyle that he sported during the Ashes...
